ABOUT ME
I am a photographer based in county Skåne (Scania) in southern Sweden. Photographing is something I do in my free time alongside my full-time job and first and foremost for my own pleasure.
Since I live in the woods, much of my work consists of landscape photos, woodland of course, but I also make images in other rural areas and by the coast. I can really get going when I find interesting rock formations. Close-up and macro are sometimes on the agenda and, on special occasions, also wildlife.
I’m often drawn to soft light and I like the intimate landscape and also ‘intimate cityscapes’, the small, often overlooked, details you find both in nature and in populated areas. When I spend time in urban areas, I like to photograph architecture and cityscapes, but sometimes also people.
I don’t follow recipes and adhere to rules, but words like ‘balance’, ‘flow’, ‘tension’ and ‘geometry’ can describe what I often look for when making images. The gut feeling also has an important role. For me, engaging in photography shall be fun, rewarding and relaxing.
